The Devil Made Me Do It

The universe decided to test my weight loss moxy by hitting me with serious computer problems on my very first day of Weight Watchers. Unfair!
Of course, those of us who are veterans of the weight loss trenches know that there's no kind, benevolent Weight Loss Fairy Godmother looking out for us. Instead, there's some sort of Weight Loss Devil (a 1960s Flip Wilson kind of devil) sitting on our shoulders, trying to convince us to veer off course.
Or at least, that's how it seems to me.
